Client Spotlight: Go Global

Swapping all the things to try for a simple fundraising plan a founder can follow

Engagement at a Glance

Go Global exists to empower local faith leaders and their congregations to confidently go and make disciples. They partner with them in humanitarian outreach, sports ministry, and intentional training in the roots of faith because we believe in the importance of the Hebrew roots of our Christian faith.

A few of the outcomes from our engagement:

  • Created a personal fundraising action plan for their executive (based on all our findings)
  • Deployed an end-of-year strategy and campaign that covered the cost of their investment with us
  • Built a strategic fundraising plan that identified the 100 core givers (delivering 80% of the annual funding) to prioritize deepening relationships with over the next year.

The Challenge

Like many founder-led ministries, Go Global had strong relationships and meaningful impact—but minimal formal fundraising systems to support sustainable growth.

Key challenges included:

  • Founder-dependent fundraising that rested largely on the relationships and availability of one person.
  • Minimal systems and infrastructure for donor engagement and follow-up that kept information siloed and hampered the donor experience.
  • No internal implementation owner, outside of the founder, making prior execution in this area slower than preferred.

The Solution

Our engagement focused on building a custom strategic fundraising and marketing plan that was easy to understand, simple to adopt, and created for a team that has done ministry and work the same way for almost two decades.

Our process included 4 vital components:

  • Conducting an extensive marketing and fundraising audit so we can clearly see what’s working well, and what needs to be optimized.
  • Using their actual data to develop their ideal donor profiles that coincide with the message they are sharing.
  • Building a 12-month communications plan so they can consistently share that message with the right audience in the right places, at the right time.
  • Compiling everything learned into a series of strategic recommendations and playbooks that prioritize the low-hanging fruit that will make an oversized impact for the organization.

The Results

Our work together prioritized both relational and revenue-focused goals to equip their small team to achieve sustained success over the long term.

In this next season, it’s absolutely crucial for this small team to know exactly how their limited time can best serve the development team and donor community who make the vital work of TeenPact possible.

Here are a few of the highlight wins:

  • Created a personal fundraising action plan for their executive (based on all our findings)
  • Deployed an end-of-year strategy and campaign that covered the cost of their investment with us
  • Built a strategic fundraising plan that identified the 100 core givers (delivering 80% of the annual funding) to prioritize deepening relationships with over the next year.

Quick Marketing Tip

If you’re struggling to set the right fundraising goals for your organization, prioritize a mix of relational and revenue-focused goals.

Here’s an example: “We will prioritize xx intentional communication touchpoints with each of our donor tiers (relational) and raise $XX by ______”. (revenue)
